AKINO ORIGINS

Akino is an independent brand founded in 2021 by our founder & Creative director Atiya Moore. During her architecture degree she developed a strong passion for retrofuturism & space age industrial design, whilst simultaneously struggling to find irreplaceable timeless pieces for her wardrobe. 

After graduating she began making her own tops & set out to create flattering form fitting timeless silhouettes which soon became the foundation of AKINO®. Over time she morphed her passion for retro futuristic industrial design into the brand to create timeless statement pieces, & Akino has evolved & continues to evolve into an embodiment of that passion. 

Akino merges the Old with the new to create timeless statement pieces. Every piece is handmade ethically in London.
